Program Overview
Youth Confirmation is for youth between 7th and 12th grade. This program is a journey for youth and their families discover a deeper relationship with Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
About our programClasses will meet at St. John in the Egan Hall lunch room (unless otherwise communicated).
Class dates for the 2025-26 session are:

November 23
November 30 (Advent Wreath Making)
December 7
December 14
January 4
January 11
January 31 (Confirmation Retreat)
February 1 (Confirmation Mass Rehearsal)
Class time is 9:30am -10:25am (between the two St. John Sunday masses).

Requirements
Eligible Candidates For Youth Confirmation:
- Must be in Middle School or in High School.
- Must have received Baptism and 1st Communion
- Attending mass on Sunday’s and on Holy Days of Obligation is strongly encouraged
- Submit a recent copy of Baptism certificate and First Communion Certificate
Requirements for Confirmation Sponsors:
- Sponsor must be 16+ years old and a practicing confirmed Catholic in good standing.
- Cannot be a parent
- Is actively practicing and in good standing with the Church.

Books can be picked up in the vestibule of St. John church or the parish office, starting in October. Books will also be available at St. Alphonsus and St. Benedict churches.
